The opening of Katowicka overpass

        Great news for drivers in Poznań! On Monday, 23rd of October, the Building Supervision Inspector of Wielkopolska Voivodeship (WWINB) granted permission to use the new Katowicka overpass (for the southern road viaduct over Inflancka street and south viaduct over Chartowo and Żegrze streets, along with the two-way approach road). The works related to development of the area under the facilities are still underway, but they have no influence on the opening date, which is already established. The completion date is almost a month earlier than initially planned. The overhaul of Katowicka overpass began more than two years ago. The cost of the entire investment is estimated at over 160 Million PLN. The city of Poznań received over 26 Million PLN of financial assistance from the State. - This is very good news for all drivers. It will contribute to a better flow of traffic in Poznan and will certainly make it easier for many people to enter and leave the city.
